Socially and Environmentally Responsible Brands

If you buy a $5 t-shirt, how much did the garment worker make after materials, machines, building upkeep, admin costs, shipping, import taxes... It often amounts to modern day slavery. The garment worker's wages are sometimes the only place to cut costs.

Now that so many of us are aware of this problem, we have an OBLIGATION to do something.

Thankfully, a MOVEMENT has started! We buy less and buy thoughtfully! We buy from companies who are BRAGGING about their care and integrity. We look for key words like Fair Trade, B corporations, organic, ethical, sustainable, social and environmental responsibility, family farms, non-GMO, pesticide-free, locally sourced, etc. And we shop second-hand to reduce waste!

Consider the whole family: Men's, Women's, and Children's. Tops, bottoms, socks, undies, shoes, and other hand or machine-sewn items we rely on like sheets, towels, school bags, and other accessories?
